Three Mercedes-Benz models do most of the work in our Miami fleet: the G63 AMG, the S580, and the Maybach S-Class. They each solve different problems. The G63 is the school-pickup-line-meets-Star-Island car, the S580 is the executive sedan that doesn't look like it's trying, and the Maybach is the chauffeured-out-back option for clients who would rather be driven. None of them are exotic in the supercar sense. All of them are the right answer to a specific Miami trip.

AMG engines do the heavy lifting on the G63: 4.0 twin-turbo V8 hand-built in Affalterbach, 577 hp out of a brick of an SUV that still hits 60 in 4.5 seconds. The S580 and Maybach run a smoother version of the same engine, paired with air suspension that ironed out enough bumps to make the Maybach the standard answer to "what should we put the principal in." The G-Wagon's solid front axle is the part that hasn't changed since 1979 and still works.

The Maybach interior is the reason Mercedes-Benz still owns the back-seat market. Power-recline rear seats, calf rests, refrigerated console, separate climate zones, and Burmester speakers that compete with anything from Naim or Bang & Olufsen. The G63 is plusher than it has any right to be for a truck shaped like a refrigerator, and the S580 lands in the middle. MBUX runs everything through twin 12.8-inch screens. Voice activation works most of the time.

The G-Wagon shape is the most recognizable luxury SUV silhouette in production, full stop. We run ours in matte black and Manufaktur Hyacinth Red. The Maybach gets the two-tone treatment, usually obsidian over diamond white, which is the only color combination Maybach really needs. The S580 is the cleanest car in our fleet: long hood, flat sides, almost nothing to comment on. That is the entire idea.

These three Mercedes-Benz rentals together cover most non-supercar concierge requests. The Maybach pairs well with our chauffeur service for hotel-to-restaurant runs, the G63 works for weekend trips that need the cargo room and the badge, and the S580 is the discreet daily for business travel in Miami. Delivery, fuel, and insurance are included. Lead times are shorter than the exotics, often same-day available, especially on the S580.
